Online Photography Courses
Photography, whether commercial or fine art, relies on technical and visual skills that serve one goal: communication. The students who are best prepared to solve the challenges that photography presents are the students with a command of the fundamental principles and practices involved. Coursework varies from program to program; however, graduates can expect to gain the following study-specific skills: an ability to use imaging equipment and computer technology, such as cameras, digital imaging equipment and software packages; techniques in creating and manipulating still and moving images. Career choices include working as commercial advertising photographers, audio-visual slide producers, corporate photographers, portrait and wedding photographers, photographic lab technicians. Working environments range from independent commercial studios, corporations, advertising agencies, audio-visual and production houses to photographic labs and professional studios.
