Online Graphic Design Courses
Graphic Design is involved with the visual communication of ideas, messages and information using both print and the web. Undergraduate and diploma courses in Graphic Design recognize the need to encourage and develop a range of practical, creative and specialist skills. Courses vary but will usually include some of the following: typography; calligraphy; printing techniques; photography; animation; audio visual techniques; book, magazine and advertising design; packaging; computer-aided design; desktop publishing; and web design. By graduation, students have acquired the training and portfolio necessary to interview for entry-level positions in advertising agencies, design studios, publishing houses, corporate communications departments, and television studios. Graduates work as production artists, graphic designers, assistant designers, assistant art directors, production coordinators, and computer artists.
