Online Fashion Design Course
Fashion Designers create clothing and accessory designs that reflect on society’s sensibilities. They may plan the production and marketing of their creations. Some high-fashion Designers are self-employed and design for individual clients. Other self-employed, high-fashion Designers cater to specialty stores or high-fashion department stores. They design original garments as well as follow the established fashion trends. Designers who work for apparel manufacturers do less original work; they adapt fashions set by other Designers for the mass market. Curricula stimulate creative expression in all aspects of fashion design, including fashion sketching, creative design, computer applications, draping, and pattern drafting. Students will understand the importance of communication, critical reasoning, and the effect they have on this diversified and global industry. Programs are structured to challenge and inspire students by incorporating artistic, technical, and theoretical elements into a realistic approach to the fashion design industry. Graduates may enter careers as fashion designers, or may use their color and design skills to become interior designers, graphic designers, or fashion consultants.
